NL: Daydreaming the sound under muted news is een onderzoek naar het fysiek ongrijpbare. Deze double screen video-installatie toont aan de ene kant de handen van een dove goochelaar die in gebarentaal een goocheltruc uitlegt. Aan de andere een Amerikaanse torenvalk, begeleid door een hand, stil zwevend. In de leegte van de lucht zoeken beide beelden naar iets wat altijd buiten bereik blijft, net buiten de taal, alsof het op het puntje van je tong ligt.

ENG: Daydreaming the sound under muted news explores the physically intangible. This double-screen video installation shows, on one side, the hands of a deaf magician explaining a magic trick in sign language. On the other, an American kestrel, guided by a hand, hovering silently. In the emptiness of the sky, both images search for something that always remains out of reach, just outside the language, as if it were on the tip of your tongue.
